How much does it cost?

The cost depends on the level that you want to choose. Whether you’re just getting started or are an experienced agent, we have a program for you. Our plan prices are all-inclusive, and we do not nickel and dime you with miscellaneous charges for everything. There is an initial activation fee to get you set up, and then a monthly platform fee to supply you with continuous updates and personal support — that’s it!

What expenses might I incur as a Pro Travel Network ITA?

As the owner of a home-based business, you should expect phone and internet access expenses, mailing costs, domain name purchase, marketing, office supplies, and more. What are Pro Travel Network’s support hours?

Our support staff is available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, PST with seasonal changes. Our support team can be reached by phone, email, or our closed Facebook Group, which is only available to PTN ITAs.

What travel products do we offer from suppliers?

Pro Travel Network has agreements with more than 200 travel industry suppliers, including everything from airfare, hotels, car rental, cruise lines, all-inclusive resorts, tour and activity companies, sports and events tickets, sports packages, and so many more. If you can think of it, we have a supplier for it!

What training does Pro Travel Network offer?

As a Pro Travel Network ITA, you will have access to industry-leading sales training and social media marketing training, as well as hundreds of supplier-specific trainings. All training is 100-percent web-based with opportunities to participate in destination training at resorts and on cruise ships.

What is a FAM trip and does Pro Travel Network offer them?

FAM is short for Familiarization. These familiarization trips are offered at enormous discounts to travel agents so that they can educate themselves on the products they are selling to clients. There is no better way to learn about a product than to go and experience it in person.

Pro Travel Network offers multiple in-house FAM trips every year, both with cruise lines as well as international resorts. As a Pro Travel Network ITA, you will also have access to hundreds of FAM trips offered by suppliers every year.

Do we get an Agent ID Card?

As a Pro Travel Network ITA, you can obtain a travel agent ID card, as well as a CLIA and IATAN card once they have been earned through training completion and sales levels. These cards will give you access to FAM trips, as well as various industry discounts.

How does an ITA make money?

Pro Travel Network ITAs earn both commissions from booking supplier’s products, as well as their own booking fees or markups to each booking they complete. You are able to sell travel products for whatever your clients will allow you to charge them.

How often do I get paid?
